Throughout the year, the museum stages a number of high profile solo and group exhibitions of work by international artists and additionally presents various theme exhibitions using pieces from the museum’s permanent collection. The collection consists of more than 1600 pieces, created by prominent artists from all over the world and is considered to be one of the most unique collections of glass in Europe.
On the grounds of the museum, a hot glass studio one can be found. The studio is in action from spring to autumn and visitors are able to follow the magic of glassblowing as the hot, syrupy mass is formed into beautiful items of glass. During the summer months, a number of activities are arranged for both children and adults such as glass casting, sandblasting and fusing.
The exclusive shop offers a wide range of glass items at varied prices, created by Danish and international craftsmen, and in one of the best locations in Ebeltoft.
